Joshua Springs Academy (JSA) is the Homeschooling arm of Joshua Springs Christian Schools through Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel. JSA is part of our Church and School Family and our homeschoolers are welcomed to participate in select activities on campus. At Joshua Springs our mission is to raise up the Next Generation!
There are 2 ways to homeschool in California; publicly and privately. Public home education would be been done through a public or often a charter school. As a private Christian school, Joshua Springs, advocates homeschooling privately. Private home education has three legal options. 1) Homeschooling as a home-based private school; 2) Homeschooling with a private school satellite program (PSP); and 3) Homeschooling via instruction by a private tutor. You are free to choose the option that best meets your family’s needs. Click here for more info on each of these.
Joshua Springs Academy (JSA) is a Private School Satellite Program (PSP). This allows your students to be enrolled in an established private school that is recognized by the State of California’s Board of Education. We want to partner with Christian families who choose to home educate and to enhance the educational opportunities available to their students; while having the freedom and protection for the education of your K-12 grade students.
